Pop artist Emily Vaughn and I traveled to Vasquez Rocks for a very exciting editorial shoot. Vasquez Rocks is such an amazing location in the desert of Southern California. There's huge rocks all over the place and of course the rock formation that makes this location famous (stay tuned for part 2). We shot in the very warm mid-morning sunshine, but despite the heat and bright light I love the way these photos turned out. Stay tune for part 2 of our photoshoot!
